Things to note when selecting compensation wires
Select compensation wire precautions1. Selection of compensation wireThe compensation wire must be correctly selected according to the type of thermocouple used and the occasion of use. For example, the k pair should choose the compensation wire of the k pair, according to the use of the occasion, choose their own model. Generally, the operating temperature of kx is -20℃ ~ 100℃, and the wide range is -25℃ ~ 200℃. The common grade error is ±2.5 ° C, and the precision grade error is ±1.5 ° C.2. Connect the contactAs close as possible to the two contact points of the thermocouple connection line, try to keep the temperature of the two contact points consistent. If there is a fan in the instrument cabinet, take protective measures at the contact. Do not let the fan blow directly to the contact.3. Use lengthBecause the signal of the thermocouple is very low, it is at the microvolt level, so in use because the distance is too long, the signal attenuation and the interference coupling of strong electricity in the environment, it is enough to lose the signal of the thermocouple, resulting in inaccurate measurement and control of temperature, and temperature fluctuations may occur in serious cases.According to our company's experience, the length of the thermocouple compensation wire should be controlled within 15 meters, if more than 15 meters, it is recommended to use a temperature transmitter for signal propagation. The temperature transmitter converts the potential value corresponding to the temperature into the current transmission, which has strong anti-interference.Step 4: WiringThe wiring of the compensation wire must be away from the power line and the source of interference. If you can't avoid crossing places, try to cross them as much as possible, not parallel.5. Shield compensation wiresIn order to improve the anti-interference of thermocouple wire, shielding compensation wire can be used. For nearby interference sources more occasions, the effect is more obvious. However, the shielding layer must contact the ground, otherwise the shielding layer not only does not play a shielding role, but enhances the interference.
